Vinicius Jr Offers Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees
Vinicius Jr has registered 5 finishes in ten Spanish league outings during the current campaign.
Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his reaction when substituted in Sunday's fiery Clasico clash victory.
The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd min and showed his frustration by going straight off the pitch.
He later returned to the bench and, after his club's narrow triumph, tried to confront Barça's opposing player during contentious final whistle incidents.
"This day I want to express regret to all the Madridistas for my response when I was replaced in the big match," he shared on social media.
"In the same way as I have already done during the latest practice, I wish to express regret anew to my colleagues, the team, and the leadership.
"At times fervor takes over me because I always want to triumph and help my side. My competitive character stems from the passion I feel for this club and all it represents."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from his former club in recent years for £38.7m and has accumulated over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.
But his career in the Spanish capital is far from certain with speculation in recent months stating that Real would consider allowing the player move on if they were to receive a suitable offer.
When he was taken off on the match day, TV coverage from coverage provider the platform captured him remarking: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's preferable if I go, I'm going."
In his new message on social media, he commented: "I commit to keep striving every second for the welfare of Los Blancos, as I have done since the initial arrival."
