Three individuals lost their lives and at least nine others sustained injuries in the newest assault from Ukraine on the Russian border region of Belgorod, according to regional authorities.

The loss of life took place after an attack on the Maslova Pristan settlement early on Wednesday, officials said. First responders were continuing to search for people suspected to be buried under rubble.

This marks the third straight day that Ukrainian forces have attacked the region, causing numerous residents lacking electricity and no fewer than two additional individuals killed.

Series of Attacks Result in Destruction

The Wednesday wave of aerial assaults destroyed residences, vehicles and electrical infrastructure in numerous regions of Belgorod, as reported by government communications.

Authorities shared photographs from Maslova Pristan depicting a recreation complex with its roof and walls demolished, and mentioned that rescue workers were clearing debris and assessing the damage.

Within the adjacent community of Moshchenoye, six individuals - comprising a minor - got hurt when an aerial projectile and unmanned aircraft targeted transportation, while a man was hurt when a vehicle was targeted in Masychevo.
