Chopper Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Beach
An aircraft soaring near a popular California coastline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm groves as beachgoers watched.
Recordings posted on the internet depict the chopper commencing to spiral over Huntington Beach then plunging near the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm trees and a steps adjacent to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Update
Emergency responders said five people were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the crash on that day.
Three people on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
